One day while walking down the hallowed halls of Thorp High I heard someone
yell, "Hey Schnookie.." I knew it had to be Corinne Hubbard. Just then, Corinne
was on her way to a Library Club meeting. But she could have also gone to G.A.A.
or Student Council or Year Book Staff meeting.
Eighteen years old on Feb. 1, Corinne stands 5' 4" tall and has blue eyes and
light brown hair. Homemade noodles are listed as her favorite food. And what
other color but blue could be the color she likes best.
When there isn't anything else to do, Corinne listens to the radio, and
especially waits for the songs, "Happy Together" and "I Think We're Alone Now."
Corinne would like to send out a plea – "Don't misspell my name." This bothers
her. She also dislikes being trampled by Freshmen, Sophomores and Juniors who
rush to the lunch line.
The campus at Eau Claire will be seeing Corinne next year. Meanwhile her advice
is to try to do things that you may not believe possible, many times they are
with a little effort.
