Mr. and Mrs. Ed Stange left last Tuesday morning for Monona, Iowa to attend the
funeral of a cousin who was killed in an auto accident. They returned home
Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Komonac and family spent Sunday p.m. with her parents, the
John Presnicky's in Sheldon.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dietzler of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the Dietzler and
Shewczyk homes.
Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Slota were Sunday dinner guests at the home of their son, Dr.
B.R. Slota and family at Thorp.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Helgerson and family of Cornell were Sunday visitors at the
home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schultz.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Frank Popple were John Anderson of Phillips, Mrs. Julia
Bowman of Eau Claire, Charles Bowman of Chippewa.
Mothers' Day guests at the Glenn Romig home were Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Romig and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Romig of Gilman, Mr. and Mrs. John Dodge and family of
Dorchester, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Newman of Minneapolis.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Glebke and family and Martin Glebke of Hannibal and Mr. and
Mrs. Donald Hall and daughter Louann of Eau Claire were Sunday guests at the
Stanley Liazuk home. The occasion was Gary Liazuk's confirmation.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cielek and grandson of Thorp were Sunday p.m. guests at the
Ed Gay home.
Diane Liazuk and friend John Hilstad of Wis. Rapids spent Sunday at the home of
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Liazuk.
Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Gullickund and family of Strum were Sunday guests at the
Stanley Liazuk home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dietzler and family of Burnsville, Minn. Spent the weekend at
the Dietzler and Chaplinski homes.
Mr. and Mrs. Leo Stuttgen and family of Eau Claire spent Mothers' Day with his
mother, Mrs. Theresa Stuttgen.
Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Schultz of Medford were Saturday afternoon guests of Mr.
and Mrs. Bion Lamberton.
Mrs. Victoria Wilcenski spent the weekend at the Merlin Williams home in
Minneapolis.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schultz and son Jim attended the funeral fo the late Hugh Brown
at the Methodist Church in Stanley Saturday afternoon.
