In ceremonies at Wis. State University, Eau Claire on Sunday, June 4, 1867,
James L. Schauer will receive his Master of Science degree in special education
of the mentally retarded. He was granted a fellowship from the University for
his year of graduate study. Mr. Schauer has taught two years at Sothern Wis.
Colony and Training School in Union Grove. Later this summer he and his wife
will leave for Hawaii, where they will both teach in the Leeward Oahu School
District. He is the son of Mrs. Sarah Schauer and the late Hubert Schauer, Thorp
(Clark Co.), Wis.
