Miller, Clara (29 JUL 1903 - 17 JUN 1967)

Mrs. John Miller, 63, rt. 3, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died Saturday at 2:20 p.m. in Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley.

The former Clara Baumgarten was born July 29, 1903 in the Stanley area, where she spent her entire life. Mr. and Mrs. Miller have farmed in the Town of Worden most of the time since their marriage in 1922.

Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Orville, Kent, Wash., Norbert, Milwaukee, and William, Little Chute; three daughters, Mrs. Edwin Ricksford, New Auburn, Mrs. Richard Heiting, Appleton, and Mrs. Wesley Petersen, Stanley; one brother, Harold Baumgarten, Stanley; three sisters, Mrs. Max Schultze, Stanley, Mrs. Clarence Wright, Cromwell, Ind., and Mrs. Bert Cardinal, Withee, and 18 grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Epiphany Lutheran Church in Stanley, the Rev. Robert Olson officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery.
