Zielanis, Patricia (10 JUN 1967)
St. Hedwig's Catholic Chapel was the setting for the marriage of Patricia
Zielanis and Walter Wyczawski, both of Milwaukee, on Saturday morning, June
10th, 1967, at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Roy Mish performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Zielanis, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.),
and Mr. and Mrs. Valentine Wyczawski, also of Thorp.
The bride was elegantly attired in a dainty cage gown made entirely of imported
Chantilly lace, delicately patterned especially for the style of gown. The
Sabrina neckline was scallop edged, as were the Kabuli three-quarter length
sleeves, and the hemline of the skirt. The detachable all lace train was chapel
length and was attached at the shoulders, falling gracefully with scallops
edging the entire train. Her dainty queen's crown was made of organza pure silk
illusion. White carnations nestled among the crescent arrangement of red roses
complemented the bridal costume.
Arlene Zielanis, maid of honor, Delores Wyczawski, Catherine Zielanis, and
Joanne Zielanis, bridesmaids, all of Thorp, wore floor length gowns of chiffon
and taffeta in aqua, fashioned in the cage silhouette. Three-quarter length
sleeves and scoop necklines complemented their empire bodices. Each carried a
cascade of white and aqua-tipped carnations.
Attendants of the groom were Louis Kowieski, bet man, Milwaukee, John Busse,
Chicago, Larry Burzynski, Appleton and Richard Wyczawski, Thorp, as groomsmen.
Frank Hodorowski, Thorp and Stanley Zalesny, Chicago, ushered.
A luncheon was served at 2:00 p.m. in the Quonset Hall, where dinner at 5:00
p.m. was also served. A reception and evening dance took place.
The new Mrs. Wyczawski is the manager of Robert's Beauty Salon, Whitefish Bay.
Mr. Wyczawski is employed as assistant manager of American Family Finance,
Milwaukee.
Following a wedding trip to Michigan, the couple will return to their home in
Milwaukee.
Out of town guests attending the wedding came from McHenry, Zion and Galena,
Ill.; Minneapolis, Minn.; Withee, Owen, Loyal Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Kiel,
Milwaukee, Appleton, Madison, Colby, West Allis, Stanley and Muskego.
