College Notes (1 October 2014)
The following Neillsville students were named to the spring honors list (minimum
3.5 GPA) of Concordia University Wisconsin, Mequon, for the 2013-2104 academic
years.
Trista Hribar, senior, computer science-information technology
Tanya Tarcsay, senior, business communication
Rachel Esselman, Greenwood, has been named a National Merit Scholar. She is one
of three of the approximately 2,050 new freshmen enrolled at the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire this fall to receive this honor. UW-Eau
Claire National Merit Scholars will receive $5,000, renewable for four years
with a 3.0 GPA, from the UW-Eau Claire Foundation.
Dr. Rachel J. Arnold was awarded her doctoral degree September 2014 by the
University-Washington School of Aquatic & Fishery Sciences. Rachel (Schoen)
Arnold was a 2000 graduate of Neillsville High School. She is the daughter of
Rodney and Renee Schoen, Neillsville.
