Arndt, Raymond (18 MAR 1910 – 29 JUN 1967)

Ray Arndt, 57, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 1967.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 3rd, 1:30 p.m. at United Church of Christ at Neillsville.

Mr. Arndt was born March 18, 1910 at Granton (Clark Co.), Wis. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1928 and took an ag. Short course at the U. of W. He worked for Dairyland Power Co-op of La Crosse since 1949. He was united in marriage to Marian Huntley on Sept. 29, 1945. Ray was past Master of Thorp F & AM; Past Worth Patron, Stanley Eastern Star; member of Thorp Moose Club; Neillsville Chapter F & AM and Commandery.

Surviving besides his wife Marian, is one step son, Gene Zaske of Minneapolis; two grandchildren, Cheryl and Lynn Zaske; three brothers, Herbert Arndt, Portland, Ore., Chester Arndt, Hailey, Idaho, Ervin Arndt, Gerber, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. James McDonough, Redding, Calif., and Mrs. Ernie Lynch, Arroyo Grande, Calif.. He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Rose (Sternitzky) Arndt, and one brother, Clifford.
