Lorraine Wehlacz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Strzok of Thorp (Clark Co.,
Wis.), has been named manager of Bank of America's new Diamond Bar Branch,
California, it was announced today by chairman of the board, Louis B. Lundborg.
Assisting Mrs. Wehlacz at the new BOA branch, which will open for business
shortly, is Mrs. Joan Salmi, who will serve as both lending and operations
officer.
Mrs. Wehlacz brings with her more than 15 years of banking experience. She moves
into her new post from the bank's West Covina branch, where she served as
assistant cashier for the past five years. She has worked at the West Covina
branch since 1956, but has also served at branches in Monterey Park and downtown
Los Angeles.
Born and educated in Thorp, Wisconsin, she attended Mount San Antonio College
and has also furthered her professional education with study courses offered at
the American Institute of Banking.
