Paul, Angeline Markowski (10 JUN 1879 - 19 JUL 1967)

Mrs. Angeline Markowski, Paul, age 88, a resident of 755 Park Av., Stanley, died at Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley, Wednesday.

Mrs. Paul was born in Harnow, Poland, June 10, 1879, and she came to the United States at the age of 20, settling in Chicago. Her marriage to Joseph Markowski took place in Chicago in 1900. They moved to Stevens Point, where they lived for two years, then moved to the rural Stanley area, where they farmed. Her husband died Jan. 15, 1929. In 1949 she was married to Frank Paul in Stanley, where they have since resided.

Mrs. Paul was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Stanley, and the Thorp Z.N>P.

Surviving are her husband Frank; eight sons, Stanley, Minneapolis, Joseph, Boyd, Frank and John, Stanley, Alex, Thorp, Walter, Chicago, Ill., Anton, Harrisburg, Penn., and Stephen, Corvallis, Oregon; and three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Wartolic and Mrs. Anton (Emily) Cesafsky, both Stanley, and Mrs. Joseph (Verna) Justcyzczk, Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Mary Matonik, Chicago; 32 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Two daughters and one son preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Mary's Church, with Father George Mathieu officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Czestochowa Cemetery, Junction.
