Schreiber, Donna Rae (12 June 1967)
Before an altar decorated with bouquets of ferns and white pompons, Donna Rae Schreiber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Schreiber of Stoughton, formerly of Colby, and Jacques Maurice O’Connell, Charleston, South Carolina naval base, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald King of Stoughton, exchanges vows June 12.
Rev. Luther Borgen officiated at the 8:30 p.m. candlelight ceremony at Central Lutheran church.
Attired in a street length daisy patterned net
dress with ribbon trim over a fitted light beige crepe slip matching the cowl
neckline of the dress, the bride was given in marriage by her father. She
carried yellow roses.
Cousin of the bride, Miss Jeneanne Scidmore, Madison, wore a street length
yellow dress with off white lace trim, carrying white mums with yellow roses
acting as a bridesmaid.
Bill O’Connell, brother of the groom, was best man.
Following the wedding a dinner was served to 20 people at Coachman’s Inn.
During the past year the bride attended
Whitewater state university. The groom is presently serving as a corporal in the
Marine Corps at Charleston, S. Car., where the bride will join him in a couple
of weeks.
