Bunkelman, Elmer (6 Apr 1908 – 8 Jul 1967)

Funeral services for Elmer Bunkelman, 59, of Milan were held Tuesday, July 11, at 2 p.m. at Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby. He died at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, July 8.
The Rev. Robert Westad officiated at the service and burial was made in the Milan Lutheran cemetery.

Elmer August Bunkelman was born in Milan April 6, 1906. He received his education in Milan and Abbotsford schools, and on May 6, 1930, he married to the former Marcella Dawson, who survives him.
He spent his entire life in Milan, and for 39 years worked at Kraft Foods. He retired this year because of ill health. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran church of Milan.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two children, Lyle Bunkelman, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Francis (Vera) Von Schroeder, Wausau. There are sic grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Vernon, of Glenn Ellyn, Ill., and two sisters, Hazel Houlihan of Milan and Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Wilkins of Hammond, Ind. One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
