Andre, Mayme (08 Apr 1879 - 15 Aug 1969)
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs.
Mayme Andre, 90, former Spencer resident, who diedFriday evening at Ladysmith.
The Rev. Wm. Rubbusch officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Myron Cramer, Earl Cramer, Edwin Seeheldt, Arnold Luepke, Emil
Luepke and DelarBrusewitz. Mrs. James Karau sang "I'm but a Stranger Here" and
"Beautiful Savior" accompanied by Mrs. Arnold Brusewitz at the organ.
The former Mayme Cramer was born April 8, 1879, in the town of Brighton. She was
married at Spencer November 25, 1897, to Otto Andre. The couple farmed in the
Spencer area until 1921, when they moved into the village of Spencer. She was a
member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Wm. (Laurine) Fenhouse; Ladysmith; a son,
Werner Andre, Muskegon Heights, Michigan; eight grandchildren and 28 great
grandchildren. One son Herman preceded her in death.
