Blazel, Robert Leroy ‘Tuff’ (? - 3 October 2014) With Flag

Robert Blazel, 96, of Ocala, Florida (formerly of Milwaukee), passed away October 3, 2014. Beloved husband for 74 years of Kathryn M. Blazel (nee Bogumill) and loving father of Robert L. Blazel, Jr. (Etta Jo), Marge (Jerry) Asselin, Anette (Jeff) Anderson, Susan (Fran) Shepeard, Mary (Tom) Wolff, Roger (Polly) Blazel and Ruth (Paul) Utech; further survived by 21 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Robert faithfully served his country in the Navy during WWII. Before Bob retired as an auditor from the Wisconsin Department of Taxation, he was a cheesemaker with his father and older brother.

Visitation will be held at Becker Ritter Funeral Home in Brookfield, Wisconsin (10475 W. North Ave.) on Friday, October 10, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m., followed by graveside service and military honors at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee.
