Washburn (26 April 1973)

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kapfer of West Bend spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Williams, Mr. and Mrs. George Sherwood and other relatives. They also visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Poler, at Memorial Home.

Miss Charmaine Montgomery was a recent supper guest of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kissling and family.

Marvin Williams spent the weekend at the Riverside Bible Camp, near Waupaca.

Sharon Huth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Huth, Sr., recently moved into an apartment in Neillsville.

Mrs. Walter Trachte spent Thursday with Mrs. Frank Short in Neillsville.

Mr and Mrs. Oliver Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. Victor St. John recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Ehlert of Gilman were recent supper guests of her sister, Mrs. Harold Elmendorf.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Havlicek, Sr., returned home recently from Schaumburg, Ill., where Mrs. Havlicek spent about sixteen weeks with their sin-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mickey Condron, while Mrs. Condron underwent surgery and recuperated. She assisted in the home, taking care of the children. Mr. Havlicek drove there after her and visited for about 10 days. They planned to come home Monday but due to the snowstorm postponed their trip until Wednesday. They reported much more snow in Illinois and southern Wisconsin than we had here.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Stewart of Verona visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Short, recently.
