Graveside rites for Randy Allen Smazal, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Smazal, route 2, Spencer, were held Monday, January 16, at Colby Memorial cemetery. The Rev. Kenneth Dix officiated. The child died shortly after birth early Saturday morning, January 14, at Memorial hospital, Neillsville.

Surviving, in addition to the parents, are four sisters, Cheryl, 8; Cindy, 6; Sandy, 5; Sheila, 2; the grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Smazal, Abbotsford and John Hofmann of Colby, and the great grand parents, Mrs. Abner Scidmore, Colby, and Louis Ress, route 2, Auburndale.
