Wetzel, Margaret A. (Stasney) (22 FEB 1944 - 22 MAR 2014)
Margaret A. Wetzel, 70, Schofield, died Saturday March 22, 2014 at Kennedy Park
Medical and Rehabilitation Center, under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.
She was born February 22, 1944 in Wausau, daughter of the late Edward and
Eleanor Stasney.
On October 5, 1963, she married Rodney Wetzel in Wausau. He survives.
Prior to her retirement, Margaret had been employed for over 30 years at Shopko
in Rothschild.
Among her favorite things to do were taking trips to the casino, County Music
Festivals and league bowling. She loved animals and watching TV especially
Dancing with the Stars and soap operas.
Survivors include her husband, Rodney, three children, Cammie (Jason) Kickbusch,
Wausau, Todd (Janice) Wetzel, Wausau, Sherri (Dale) Bickford, Schofield; one
grandson, Steven Salzman; four siblings, James (Shirley) Stasney, Madison,
Robert (Linda) Stasney, Wausau, Susie (Kim) Neisis, Marion, Iowa, David
(Michelle) Stasney, Wausau, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be Noon Saturday March 29, 2014 at the Peterson/Kraemer
Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth Street, Wausau. Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the
Sixth Street funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ministry Home Care Hospice.
