Stabnow, Deborah Ann (Marriage - 28 April 1973)
Miss Debra Stabnow became the bride of Mark Gungor in an 8 p.m. ceremony
performed April 28 at the Neillsville Assembly of God Church by the Rev. D. E.
Sprague. A reception was held later at the Neillsville American Legion Hall.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Stabnow of Greenwood and Dr. and
Mrs. Bahri Gungor of Neillsville.
The bride’s gown of white satin was styled with a small train and trimmed with
white daisies around the neckline, long sleeves and train. She carried a round
bouquet of small white mums and white carnations with baby pink roses and white
streamers as she was presented in marriage by her father.
Honor bridal attendant was Debbie Laib of Greenwood. Bridesmaids were Leyla
Gungor and Linda Deminsky. Their respective gowns of purple, pink and green
dotted Swiss were fashioned with short, puffed sleeves. Each carried a round
bouquet of carnations in hues to match her dress.
Brian Drake served as bestman. Groomsmen were Edwin Gungor and Steve Rakestraw.
Gary Menne and Danny Potter shared ushering duties.
Valerie Thorsen was the flower girl and Dave Younker of Marshfield presented
music at the wedding.
The new Mrs. Gungor is a graduate of Greenwood High School and her husband
graduated from Neillsville High School. Both are with Christ Is the Answer in
Weldon, Ill.
