Granton (3 May 1973)
Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Vanderwyst, together with Mr. and Mrs. Dale Wernberg and
sons of Marshfield, spent the Easter weekend with the Harold Vanderwyst family
in Alpena, Mi.
The piano students of mrs. Leland Garbisch were to present a public recital
Tuesday evening in the Granton School cafeteria.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert, Jr., and family of Melrose Park, Ill., who arrived
last Tuesday for a visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert, Sr.,
returned home Sunday. The Senior Hillerts were Easter Sunday guests of their son
and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hillert and family, Tomah, and returned
home Easter Monday.
The U.M.W. society of the United Methodist Church is to meet this (Thursday)
afternoon with Miss Rose Pietenpol as hostess. Mrs. William Schmidtke will
present the program entitled “Why Study the Bible.”
