Olson, Steven (? - ? April 1973)
Funeral services for Steven Olson were held April 24, from Our Savior’s Lutheran
Church. The Rev. David Wenger officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood
Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: John Koschak, William Herr, Marty Begley, Jerry Verhulst, Ray
Weyer, and Eugene Steffen. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold sang, “The King of love My
Shepard Is,” and the congregation sang “Children of the Heavenly Father,” and “I
Know that My Redeemer Lives.” They were accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Don
Warner.
Relatives and friends from away who attended were: Mr. and Mrs. Merle Ludwig and
daughter of Volin, S.D.; Mrs. Burle Logan and Mrs. Alma Tigner of Clark, S. D.;
Walter Baron and son, Dennis, Tony Abene and Mr. and Mrs. John Lubinski of
Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. Roger Olson of Gallup, N.M.; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Magauson
and daughters, Rita and Gerri, of Glenwood City; and many students from the Eau
Claire Technical School and other relatives and friends from Colby, Marshfield,
Willard, Wausau, Humbird, Neillsville, Loyal, Unity, Owen, Eau Claire, Chippewa
Falls, Elk Mound, Thorp, Stratford, Glenwood City and from the Greenwood area.
