Pleasant Ridge 4-H (10 May 1973)

A meeting of the pleasant Ridge 4-H Club was held April 28 at the Grant Town hall.

The club will again have a team in the 4-H softball league; all members present signed-up. Karen Richmond and Allen Drescher were elected co-captains. Last year, the Pleasant Ridge club won only one game but was awarded the sportsmanship trophy.

Plans were started for the club’s “June is Dairy Month.” It was decided to postpone plans for a bowling party until after the Clark County Fair.

A talk on camping safety was presented by Lee Kuechenmeister.

Many members attended a roller skating party at Hatfield April 8, hosted by the Happy Valley 4-H Club.

The club’s next meeting will be held May 20 at 1:30 p.m. at the Grant Town Hall. Shelley Meredith-club reporter
