Roytek, Elsie (11 JUN 1883 – 6 AUG 1967)

Elsie Roytek, 84, passed away at Victory Memorial Hospital, Sunday, Aug. 6th, 1967. Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig's Chapel, Wednesday, Aug. 9th, ten a.m., with Father Edward Masalewicz officiating. Burial was in St. Hedwig's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Leon Wnek, Wayne Burgess, Rod Roytek, Arnie Roytek, Jerry Wnek and Barney Roytek.

Elsie Malecki was born June 11, 1883 in Poland. She arrived in the states in 1891 and lived in the Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) area most of her life. She was united in marriage to Barney Roytek, who preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Chester Roytek, Stanley, John Roytek, Thorp; two daughters, Mary Wnek Thorp, Frances Kowieski, Tucson, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
