Aaron L. Mattes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Art Mattes, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), has
received a scroll of commendation for his scholastic proficiency during the
1966-67 school year.
Aaron is a sophomore at Wis. State University, Superior, where he is majoring in
physical education. In order to receive the commendation, the recipient must
attain a grad point average of 3.0 for the academic year.
Aaron's name is now added to the conference honor roll, which is designed to
focus attention on academic, as well as athletic achievement among varsity
athletes competing in intercollegiate sports.
