A large crowd from this vicinity and Thorp attended the Steam Engine Days in
Strum on Sunday.
Fred Meier of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Elmer Seffroud, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Seffroud,
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kelly of Darlington were weekend visitors at the Gertrude
Barth home. On Sunday Mrs. Barth accompanied them to the Holloway Lutheran
Church picnic, where they met many relatives and friends. Mrs. Barth spent
Sunday night at the Art Meier home in Withee and returned home on Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Biddle and Nathale Frese visited at the Sam Hagen home at
Stanley Sunday night.
Tommy, Peggy and JoAnn Noah spent a few days last week at the home of their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah of Greenwood.
Mrs. Bud Reinke and sons of Phillips, Linda Owens of Withee, spent the weekend
at the Walter Reinke home.
Mr. and Mrs. John Budzinski, Bernard, Betty and Tommy, visited Friday night at
the Eugene Budzinski home.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Malinowski visited at the ed Kotecki home Tuesday night.
Mrs. Dennis Biddle, Nathale Frese visited Friday afternoon at the Ernest Doege
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kiraly of Chicago spent the weekend at the Louis Malinowski
home.
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Haider and family of Minneapolis, Mrs. Katherine Lato spent
the weekend at the Edward Lato cottage at Ida Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Biddle and Nathale Frese visited Saturday night at the
George Spaeth home at Stanley.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Malinowski visited Friday night at the Walter Anderson home
at Cadott.
Katherine Lato visited Monday night at the home of her mother, Josephine Rogus.
Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Brenner, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Mnicholacik visited Sunday night
at the Bernard Jacque home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Missling of Withee visited Friday night at the Dennis Biddle
home.
Gary Reinke of Owen returned home after spending some time at the home of his
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reinke.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Malinowski of Chippewa Falls visited Sunday afternoon at the
Louis Malinowski home.
Mrs. Ed Budolfson visited Sunday afternoon at the Dennis Biddle home.
Mrs. Nathale Frese and Jerry returned to their home at Oxford. Jerry spent the
summer at the home of his father, Emmett Frese, and Terry remained another week.
