Hensler, Ralph Alvin James (12 May 1938 - 13 October 2014) With Flag
Ralph Hensler, 76, of Neillsville died Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at St. Joseph’s
Hospital in Marshfield.
Ralph Alvin James Hensler was born May 12, 1938, at hone on the Benninger farm
in Reeseville, the son of Carl and Lauretta (Peshman) Hensler. He graduated from
St. John Lutheran Grade School in Waterloo, WI, and later joined the United
States Army. He was united in marriage to Donna Braunschweig Jan. 30, 1965, and
worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; three sons, Kendall (Dixie) Hensler of
Neillsville, Clarence ‘Tyke’ (Sandra) Hensler of Columbus; WI, and Albert
Hensler of Columbus; three sisters, Marilyn Dempsey of Waterloo, Patricia Heiman
of Columbus, and Lorraine (Gordon) Virchow of Waterloo; three brothers, Carl Jr.
(Darlene) Hensler of Avoca, Dennis (Courtney) Hensler of Middleton and John
Hensler of Madison. Ralph is also survived by several grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dion.
A memorial service for Ralph was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at the
Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville with visitation one hour prior to the
service. Pastor Douglas Bjerke officiated.
