Oscars, Louise (15 DEC 1906 – 2 SEP 1967)

Louise Oscars, 60, of Chula Vista, Calif., died Sept. 2, 1967 in a San Diego, Calif. Hospital. She had been hospitalized since July 12 due to emphysema.

The former Louise Zaborowski was born Dec. 15, 1906 in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) and graduated from Thorp High School in 1925. She lived in Illinois and Minnesota before moving to California in 1955.

She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Quandt of Chula Vista, Calif., her mother, Stella Zaborowski, and brother, Raymond Zaborowski, both of Thorp; 2 sisters, Theresa Bujalski and Elizabeth Restarski, both of Chicago, and 3 grandchildren.

Services were held at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery on Sept. 6.
