Swierkowski, Anton (17 APR 1905 – 10 SEP 1967)

Anton Swierkowski, 62, passed away of a heart attack on Sunday, Sept. 10th, 1967 at his home on Rt. 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Sept. 13th at ten a.m. at St. Hedwig's Chapel, with burial in the parish cemetery. Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service.

Pallbearers were: Joseph Kramicz, Earl Bates, Joseph Harycki, Walter Juzwiak Jr., Frank Penkala and Malin Juzwiak.

Mr. Swierkowski, a local farmer and treasurer for the town of Withee, was born April 17, 1905 at Thorp, Wis., where he has lived all his life.

Surviving are one brother, Stanley Swierkowski, of Minneapolis; three sisters, (Sophie) Mrs. Edward Cheze of Hinckley, Ill., Verna and Rose of Thorp; three nieces and four nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Victoria Swierkowski, and one brother.
