Bondaruk, Maria M. (20 JUL 1917 - 23 OCT 2014)
Maria M. Bondaruk, 97, town of Little Black, died on Thursday, Oct. 23 at
Aspirus Medford Hospital where she had been a resident for one day.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Oct. 27 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford,
with Mr. Robert Eberhardt and Mr. Stanley March officiating. Inurnment of her
cremated remains will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II at a later date.
Maria Bondaruk was born on July 20, 1917 in White, Russia. She received her
education in White.
In 1967 she immigrated to the family dairy farm in Little Black, and became an
integral part of the farm. For the past 20 years she and her nephew, George,
worked to maintain the farm and care for each other.
She was a member of her home Bible group. She enjoyed cooking, and reading the
Bible and the Polish Paper.
She is survived by a nephew, George Bondaruk of Little Black, and a niece, Fran
(Norm) Pierce of Poplar Grove, Ill.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Paul Bondaruk and two other brothers; one
sister; and a sister-in-law, Anna K. Bondaruk.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her family to be designated at a
later date.
