Zajack, Cecilia A. (SEP 1967)
Miss Cecilia Ann Zajack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Zajack, Thorp (Clark
Co., Wis.), became the bride of Jerold J. With, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
Wirth, Nekoosa, at St. Hedwig's Chapel. Father William Matzek performed the
double ring ceremony and nuptial High Mass.
The bride wore a traditional floor length gown fashioned with a fitted bodice,
tapered sleeves and scalloped neckline highlighted with sequins. The full skirt
featured tiers of Chantilly rose appliqued lace in a front opening and the sides
and back of imported taffeta swept into a full length chapel train enhanced by
bows and edged with lace. Her sheer illusion veil was secured by a crown of
pearls, and she carried a bouquet of pink sweetheart roses and white carnations.
Miss Vicki Grabowski, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids
were Julie Lato, cousin of the bride, and Carolyn Zajack, sister of the bride.
They wore floor length gowns of royal powder blue featuring an Empire waist
taffeta and lace underskirt with a floating chiffon overskirt. Their veils were
secured by pearls in the pattern of a butterfly and they carried matching
bouquets of blue and white carnations.
Miss Anita Zajack, sister of the bride, was flower girl, wearing a floor length
full dress of Chantilly tiered lace enhanced with little blue bows to match the
bridesmaids dresses. She carried a basket of blue and white carnations.
Mr. Jerome Sliwicki, friend of the groom, was best man, and the groomsmen were
Robert Lato and David Mielnikowski. Jimmy Kopacz was ring bearer carrying a
heart shaped pillow with blue ribbons.
Mrs. Zajack, mother of the bride, wore a powder blue brocade dress with white
accessories. Mrs. Wirth, mother of the groom, wore a moss green A-line dress
with beige accessories. Both mothers were pinned with corsages of white
carnations and pink sweetheart roses.
The bride is a secretary at Thorp Finance Corp., and the groom is attending
school at Wausau Tech, and holding a part time job. They are making their home
in rural Thorp.
