Karlen, Anna G. (19 AUG 1896 – SEP 1967)
Funeral services for Mrs. Anna G. Karlen, rt. 3, Stanley, were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Stanley, with Rev. Carl W. Peters
officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Karlen was born in Cedar Falls, Aug. 19, 1896. She moved to the Town of
Worden (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1902. Her married to Edward Karlen took place at Our
Savior's Parsonage, Stanley, May 3, 1941, with Rev. J.N. Midtlein officiating.
After their marriage they resided on a farm in the Town of Worden.
Surviving are her husband, Edward; two stepsons, Clyde, Cadott, and Wilton,
Owen; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Nick Voytovich, Minneapolis; Mrs. Wallace
Nelson, Whitehall; and Mrs. Vincent Pomietlo, Perry, Ohio; and 18 grandchildren.
