Gust Voss, 88, Unity, died at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Monday, April 3, at 6 p.m. He had been a patient at the hospital since Friday evening. He had been in poor health for the last two years.

Carl Herman Gustav Voss was born September 11, 1878, in the town of Rantoul, Calumet county. Mr. Voss farmed most of his life in the Colby and Abbotsford area. He was in business in Unity for a few years. He was married to Anna Hansen of Marshfield April 13, 1903, who preceded him in death December 7, 1944.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Mildred) Domer of Unity; a son, Edmund, of Abbotsford; five grand children and eight grand children; one brother, George Voss of Brillion, and one sister, Mrs. Alvina Falck of Hortonville. Two sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Hugh Evans of the Evangelical and Reformed church at Dorchester Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. The body will repose at the Polnaszek Funeral Home at Abbotsford from Wednesday noon until time of services at the church. Interment will be made in Colby cemetery.
