------ Healy, Elmer (10 AUG 1876 – 23 JAN 1967)
Elmer Healy, 90, a native of Unity, died Monday, January 23, at the Memorial
Nursing Home, Neillsville, where he had been a patient since October.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 27, at the Plombom Funeral Home in
Stanley. Burial will be in the Brighton cemetery.
Elmer Healy was born at Unity August 10, 1876, and lived there until he was 19
years old. His first marriage was to Nellie Jones, who died in 1918. In 1937 he
married Maude Chaplain, who died in 1960. For the past 25 years, Mr. Healy had
lived at Stanley, except for a period just before moving to the nursing home,
when he lived with the George Cook family at Unity.
Survivors include two sons, Lyle of McLean, Va., and Raymond of Sunnyside,
Calif., and five grand children.
