Albert A. Ortlieb, route 1, Dorchester, died Friday, January 27, at the
Marshfield Convalescent Center. He was 68 years old.
Funeral services were held Monday at Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester. The Rev.
L.L. McCormick officiated and burial was in the Pine Hill cemetery at Curtiss.
Mr. Ortlieb was born August 1, 1898, in the town of Mayville, and received his
early education in the Cleveland grade school in Clark county. His marriage to
Edith Bernsee took place June 12, 1929, at Medford. After their marriage, the
couple farmed in the town of Little Black. Mr. Ortlieb also did carpentry work.
Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Hugh (Joyce) Donovan, and a grand
daughter, Debra Donovan, Marshfield; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Pagel, Wausau, Mrs.
Bertha Paul, Stanley, and Mrs. Ida Pattitz, Abbotsford, and three brothers,
Rodolph Ortlieb, Dorchester, Herman Hingess, Dorchester, and William Hingess,
Owen.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother.
