Henry Forbish, 97, Colby, died Thursday morning, April 27, at St. Joseph’s
hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Colby Methodist
church, with the Rev. R. James Hagen officiating. Burial was in Colby memorial
cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby.
Pallbearers were Eugene Forbish, Iiam Pevytoe, Homer Smith and Danny Firnstahl.
Henry Forbish was born September 29, 1869, in Sheboygan county. He came to the
Colby area in 1902, farming in the town of Hull until his retirement in 1937,
when he moved to the city of Colby. Since the death of his wife, in 1958, he had
lived with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Aderhold, Colby.
Surviving are Mrs. Aderhold and one son, Gordon Forbish, route 1, Colby, five
grand children and six great grand children. He was preceded in death by his
wife, one daughter in infancy, three brothers and three sisters.
