------ Piehl, Ada L. (23 MAR 1888 – 11 MAY 1967)
Funeral services for Ada L. Piehl, 79, a former resident of Abbotsford and
Medford, were held Monday afternoon at the Pentecostal Assembly in Eau Claire.
Rev. Richard Davis officiated with burial taking place at Rest haven Gardens
near Eau Claire.
Mrs. Piehl died Thursday evening, May 11, in Luther hospital in Eau Claire. The
former Ada L. Harris was born March 23, 1888, in Medford where she spent the
greater portion of her life-time. She moved to Abbotsford with her son in 1954
and then to Eau Claire in 1958.
Survivors include three sons, Edwin and Frederick of Eau Claire and Martin of
Shorewood, and a daughter Mrs. Ruth Wedlund, also of Eau Claire.
Area residents attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Chet Knight, Mrs. Lillian
Jensen, Abbotsford, Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Vieth and daughter, Debra, Mrs. Louis
Wigstadt, of Dorchester, and Ervin Harris, Curtiss.
