------ Wenzel, Anna J. (1 NOV 1887 – 11 MAY 1967)
Mrs. Emil Wenzel, 79, a former Abbotsford resident, died at Memorial hospital,
Milford, Del., May 11. She was a patient there since May 3. Interment was made
in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Seaford, Del.
Mrs. Wenzel’s first marriage was to John H. Olson and the family lived in
Abbotsford for many years. Mr. Olson died at Abbotsford in 1939.
Her second marriage to Emil Wenzel of Rib Lake took place in 1940 and they lived
in Abbotsford for about a year and then moved to Greenwood, Del.
For the past few months, due to illness of Mrs. Wenzel, they went to live with
her daughter, Mrs. Addison Figgs, at Seaford.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Norman Olsen, of Abbotsford, and
six daughters, Mrs. Christina Ball of Denver, Colo., Mrs. Louis (Helen) Wiese of
Reedsburg, Wis., Mrs. Adeline Hopper of Georgetown, Del., Mrs. Lee (Lorraine)
Cronin of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Addison (Regina) Figgs and Mrs. Andrey
Herbert of Seaford, Del.
There are 29 grand children and 87 great grand children.
Preceding her in death were her first husband, one daughter and one son.
