Dimmitt, Nancy Jane (Marriage - 26 May 1973)

Miss Nancy Jane Dimmitt became the bride of James Michael Flynn in a 2 p.m. ceremony performed Saturday, May 26, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Fairview. The Rev. David Ziegelmaier officiated.

The new Mrs. Flynn, presented in marriage by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George E. Dimmitt of Humbird. Her husband is the son of Mrs. Elizabeth Knipfer, Chippewa Falls and Alex Flynn, Eau Claire.

The bride’s sister, Mrs. Rita Ulesich, was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Rosemary Schmidt, Mrs. Pam Emerson and Miss Karen Bramer. Miss Suzanne Schmidt was the junior bridesmaid.

Thomas Streets served as bestman. Groomsmen were Richard Flynn, Terrence Wedemyer and William Dimmitt. Sharing ushering duties were Richard Dimmitt and Richard Moe.

A reception was held in the church hall. The Silver Dome near Neillsville was the setting later of a wedding dance.

The newlyweds will live at 22 Jefferson Ave. Chippewa Falls.
