Thompson, Mrs. Jean (Master’s Degree - 1973)
Mrs. Jean Thompson, a former Neillsville resident, has received a Master of
Science degree in library science from Columbia University, New York City and
also received the R. Krystina Dietrich award for academic excellence. Beginning
July 1 she will be assistant social science librarian at Virginia Polytechnic
Institute and State University, Blacksburg, Va.
Mrs. Thompson has been visiting friends in Neillsville and planned to leave the
area Wednesday.
