Pasono, Karin J. (Marriage - 2 June 1973)

Students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Karen J. Pasono, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Pasono, Oshkosh, and John R. Stremikis, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Stremikis, Sr., Rt. 1 Willard, were married May 26 at St. Vincent’s Catholic Church in Oshkosh. The Rev. Robert Sladek officiated at the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn, Oshkosh.

The couple’s attendants were Mrs. Susan Wohlmuth, sister of the bride, and Ed Wohlmuth of Gary, In. Gregg Gottgetrew of Memphis, Tn., the bride’s brother-in-law, and Jerry Stremikis of Thorp, the bridegroom’s brother, acted as ushers.

Following a wedding trip through the western states and Canada, the newlyweds will live at 133 Lathrop St. Madison.

The new Mrs. Stremikis attends the University of Wisconsin-Madison and will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in August. Her husband, who received his Bachelor of Science degree from the same school, is now a graduate student and is a candidate for a Master’s degree in meteorology in August. He has accepted a position to do meteorological research for the United States government near San Paulo, Brazil, after graduation.
