Decker, Joseph L. (8 APR 1891 – 13 OCT 1967)
Joseph Louis Decker, 76, of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died Friday afternoon at
St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.
He was born in Manitowoc on April 8, 1891. He lived in Chippewa Falls for a
while, then moved to Owen (Clark Co.).
He is survived by two sons, Marvin of Chippewa Falls, Gordon of Chippewa Falls;
one daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Lubs, Chippewa Falls; two brothers, Edward,
California, and Louis, South Dakota; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Boehm, Mrs.
Clarence Blahnik, Cato, and Mrs. Marie Humble and Mrs. Tom Keenan, both of
Milwaukee.
Funeral service were held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thorp at 10 a.m.
Monday, with Father Francis Brockman officiating. Burial was in the Mount Hope
Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
Pallbearers were: Francis Conway, Louis Gruszynski, Robert Herman, all of Thorp,
Buck Shes, Edward Kohls and Harry Lee, all of Chippewa Falls.
