Pleasant Ridge (13 Jun 1918)
A large crowd attended the Children’s Day program Sunday night and everyone
enjoyed it.
There will be a meeting in the Kurth school house Friday night to make
arrangements for a 4th of July celebration. Please come and help plan.
Miss Marie Carter of Crandon is down on a visit with relatives and old friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Kuetchenmeister, Mr. and Mrs. Julius Benedict and Miss Ina
Huckstead, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Swann and son, Herbert, autoed to Crandon Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. James Hughes and children and Sam Cook and daughter, Leah, came
home Saturday night from Montana, where they have been making their mother a
visit.
There was a large crowd at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Altimus last Friday night
and gave them a fine surprise in honor of their 25th wedding anniversary.
Everyone had a fine time.
