North Grant (13 Jun 1918)
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hughes and children and Sam Cook and daughter, Leah, returned
from Montana Saturday, where they spent the past two weeks sightseeing and
visiting relatives.
Fred Kier sawed wood at home Friday and again Tuesday.
The Fourth of July will be fittingly celebrated by a community picnic in the
Schaeffer Grove.
Donald and Harold Kier visited Dan and Edor Garbisch Sunday.
Robt. Bruss, wife and daughter visited relatives in Levis Sunday.
A large crowd enjoyed the Children’s Day program at Pleasant Ridge church Sunday
evening.
Geo. Vine helped Fred Kier Tuesday and Ted Selves worked for his brother,
Richard, the same day.
Emil Krause Sundayed at Arnold Worchel’s.
