Dells Dam (13 Jun 1918)
The Levis Sewing Circle will meet today, Thursday, June 13, with Mrs.
Munson and daughter, Edna. There will be work done for the Red Cross. Everyone
should try and come early.
Pearl Braman and wife and Mr. Wenberg and family drove out and spent Sunday at
Columbia with Peter Larson and family.
Rev. Engwald Iverson, S.S. Missionary for the Northern Wis. Presbytery, will
give a stereopticon lecture on his work Thursday evening at the church. A full
house is looked for.
There will be services at the church Sunday evening, beginning at 8 o’clock.
Rev. Roberts was in this vicinity Monday forenoon visiting among the people.
Mrs. F. Babcock and daughter, Jessie, of Wonewoc are spending a few days at the
Victor Horton home.
Mrs. Wright and son, Glen, spent Sunday at the John Apfel home.
There was a large attendance at church Sunday evening.
Mrs. G.D. Schultz and daughter, Hazel, were Neillsville callers Monday.
They are talking of putting a temporary bridge over Dells Creek, where the
bridge washed out.
Mrs. Sniteman spent a few days with Mrs. Wm. True last week.
There will be a social at the church on Thursday, June 20. Everyone
invited.
