Chili (13 Jun 1918)
James Davidson died at his home one mile west of Chili Sunday morning. The
funeral was held in the M.E. Church Tuesday afternoon and burial took place in
the Lynn Cemetery, where they have a son buried.
Mr. and Mrs. Anton Schuster and family autoed from Stratford Sunday and spent
the day with Minnie Prust.
Jimmie Farning, former assistant cashier of Chili Bank, was in Chili Monday
calling on friends.
Dr. Schultz of Lynn was seen on our streets Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Willie Hotchkiss of Milwaukee are here visiting the former’s
mother, Mrs. Betsy Hotchkiss.
Mr. and Mrs. Sample entertained Mrs. Sample’s father and a sister from Eau
Claire Tuesday and Wednesday.
Floyd Gibson spent Tuesday in Neillsville with his brother, Rene.
Jay Waterman was a Marshfield called Wednesday.
Mrs. John Hutt and Laura DuVall went to Granton Saturday.
Mrs. H. H. Henning and children of Marshfield spent Saturday and Sunday with
relatives and friends in Chili.
Mrs. Minnie Prust was a Marshfield caller Saturday.
T.E. Emling and Walter Girlie of Spencer were seen on our streets Friday.
