Parker, Ruth (10 Jun 1918)
The marriage of Lieut. Maurel K. Rabenstein and Miss Ruth Parker was solemnized
on June 10th at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church at Stevens Point. The groom
is a son of Editor and Mrs. Carl Rabenstein of this city and grew to young
manhood here, graduating from the high school and Stevens Point Normal. He
taught school for a short time and was principal of the schools at Arkansas,
Wis., for one year. At the outbreak of the war he went to Ft. Sheridan to the
officers training camp, was recommended for a commission and was transferred to
the aviation corps. He entered this work at Austin and completed it at Kelly
field and expects to see service in France before long.
His bride is a most winsome and pleasing young lady and is well known to many of
the young people here. She has visited here on several occasions at which times
she has made a highly favorable impression and one which made her many friends
in this city. The friends of the young people unite in offering their very
sincere congratulations.
