Smith, Abedell Hathway (3 APR 1835 – 16  Jun 1918)

Mrs. Abedell Hathway Smith died on Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Isaac Morrison. She was aged 83 years, 2 months and 13 days and had been in feeble health for some time. She was born Abedell Cotton in the state of Maine and was married to Henry Smith at Stevens Point 32 years ago. She was a very pleasant old lady and highly esteemed by a large circle of friends. She is survived by four children out of a family of eleven children. The surviving children are Mrs. Leslie Willets, Mrs. Violet Kelsey, Mrs. Isaac Morrison and Albert Cox. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon, services being conducted at Pleasant Ridge Church and interment being made in the Grant Cemetery.
