Hewett (27 Jun 1918)
Lillie Beulow, Will Dux and wife and son, Teddy, enjoyed an auto trip with Fred
Pollnow quite recently.
Mrs. Forest Campbell and little daughter have been visiting their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Bruney, the past three weeks.
Lon Cook and Harry Moffatt are camping on the Fleming place this week, working
for George L. Jacques.
Nearly everyone from here attended the funeral of Max Zimmerman Sunday. They can
well be proud their boy was a soldier.
Walt Amidon, Bill Dux and their wives spent last week Sunday at Hatfield in
search of the finny tribe. Bites were plentiful, but they were mosquito bites.
Miss Bracy is home from Oshkosh where she attended school the past year.
Rosco Hart was called to the colors June 25th.
Genie Moffatt went to Mineral Point Saturday to visit his sister, Mrs. Joe Cox,
and family.
