Dells Dam (27 Jun 1918)
Mrs. M. McKivet is visiting with her sister, Mrs. John Leopold, for a week or
so.
There was a large crowd at the social at the church last Thursday evening. Mr.
Roberts and Miss Becker came down from Neillsville.
Mrs. Frank Raether went up to consult the doctor Friday and is under his care.
Rev. Roberts took supper with Pearl Braman and wife Sunday evening.
Preaching next Sunday evening as usual and a full house is looked for.
Mrs. Robert French returned last week after spending several weeks at Green Bay
and Milwaukee. We are glad to see her looking so well.
Ben Beeckler and wife are very busy fixing up their house so they can move into
it.
Blueberries are beginning to ripen, but there are not many as the forest fires
have gone over the best of the patches.
Mr. Vincent is visiting around in this neighborhood. He hasn’t been back here
since he plastered the church 22 years ago.
