Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gibson and son, Shawn, of Plymouth, spent Friday until Monday at the home of his foster parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen. Their son, Shawn, was born Mother’s day, May 13.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Elmer of Milwaukee are visiting his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Elmer. Other guests there, were his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hall, of Hillcrest, Fla.

Gerald Jakobi of Milwaukee was an overnight guest Friday of his parents, Mr. and Mr. John Jakobi.

Mr. and Mrs. Allen Turnquist and family of Milwaukee, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Turnquist of Stevens Point, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Turnquist, and attended the 40th wedding observance of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Turnquist, Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gibson and son, Shawn, of Plymouth, were supper guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Duane Olson.

The Ladies Aid of Trinity Lutheran Church met last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Alfred Zillmer. Mrs. John Jakobi presided. Devotions were by Allen Krohn, the vacancy pastor. It was decided to have the annual potluck picnic at the Greenwood Park at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 19.

Guests who helped Howard Olsen celebrate his birthday at his home Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. Harold Harmsen of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Olson, Jeff, Jodi and Jackie, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rossow, Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Dyre, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Braun, Todd, Tammy and Danny.

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Bulgrin and son, Bryce of Pekin, Il., spent the weekend with her parents, Mr and Mrs. Alvin Albert.

The Rev. and Mrs. Harold Verhulst and children of Milbank, S. D., and Miss Corrine Verhulst of Los Angeles, Calif., returned to their home Monday after spending two weeks with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Verhulst. They also attended the wedding of their niece, Lina Verhulst, and Mont Haugland, held Saturday, June 23, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Among others who visited the Verhulst families and attended the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. Richard Verhulst and family of Anderson, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Verhulst of Sheboygan; Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Dugre of New Berlin; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Haupt of Elkhorn; Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Bredleau of Stevens Point; Mrs. Joyce Luther of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Franz and son and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Franz of Mesa, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Franz and family of Elk Mound; and members of the Haugland family of Shell Lake and North Dakota.

Keith Stewart of Middleton spent the weekend with his father, Robert Stewart, and with his mother, who has been a patient at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville since June 19.
