The Senior Citizens met last Thursday evening in the Clark Electric auditorium, with 48 members and a guest, Walter Elmer, of Milwaukee, in attendance. David Danielson presided and gave a reading, “Concern for Each Other.”

The pledge of allegiance was led by Mrs. Irvin Carl, who also was the acting secretary in the absence of Mrs. Effie Swieso.

A “Thank You” was received from Hubert Kuehn.

After the meeting Norman Liebzeit showed pictures of his trip to Hawaii, and they also gave a travelogue.

Following the program, games were played and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Amy Hendrickson, Mrs. Sophie Pieper, Mrs. Leota Murphy and Mrs. Joe Susa; Mrs. Anna Susa in pinochle; Mrs. Norman Heideman and Mrs. Otto Voie in Sheepshead and Mrs. Sadie Vogel in 500.

A lunch was served by Mrs. David Danielson, Mrs. Rose Ludwig and Mrs. Werner Gempeler.

The Group decided to meet July 19 for its annual picnic at the Greenwood Park at noon. Members are asked to bring sandwiches and a dish to pass. Coffee and Kool-aid will be furnished. Transportation will be available.
