Mathison, Anna (15 FEB 1886 – 14 NOV 1967)
Mrs. Anna Mathison of West Maple St., Stanley, Wis., passed away at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 14th, 1967 at Victory Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Mathison was born Feb. 15th, 1886 in Elroy, Wis. Shew as the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Eric Halverson.
When Mrs. Mathison was a young girl, the family moved to Eau Claire; and later
she was united in marriage to Ole Mathison in 1918 in Eau Claire. She and her
family moved to Stanley in 1937.
She is survived by two sons, Gerhard of Thorp, Gustav of Flint Mich.; one
daughter, Mrs. Frances Wirch, Pensacola, Fla.; and ten grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband, who died in August 1964. Her parents and one
child, who died in infancy, also preceded her in death.
She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Stanley, and the Norse Mission
Circle.
Services were held Saturday, Nov. 18th at 2:00 p.m. from Our Saviors Lutheran
Church, Stanley, with the Rev. Carl Peters officiating.
Interment was in the East Side Cemetery, Stanley, Wis.
